REVIEW OF THE WOODHOUSE DAY SPA

Upon our arrival at the Woodhouse Spa, we were greeted by the friendly receptionists. After we gave them our names, they sent us to an elevator, which revealed a small labyrinth of various rooms for messages, a small room containing a special, claw-foot bath tub, and a room with a special body shower called a Vichy shower. 

Although we were not having one of these services done, we were still escorted to a room called the Relaxation Room, which is a small, quiet sitting area that includes soft lighting, calming music, and a variety of magazines to read while you wait. 

We were called from the Relaxation Room and led to a separate room where the manicures and pedicures are done.  Amanda and I had the classic manicure done, which includes a nail cleaning, paraffin treatment, and a polish.

This was all done with finesse and I greatly enjoyed the experience.  It was very relaxed and it did not feel at all like we were being rushed.  After our treatment, we were led back to the Relaxation Room, where you can stay as long as you wish. 

Although we only had a small service done, I hope that I can try another service sometime in the future.  It was very relaxing and a great way to wind down after a long day.
